Within five business days after the receipt of a request, the County Records Officer and/or representatives will do one or more of the following:Make requested records available for inspection or copyingAcknowledge the receipt of the request and provide a reasonable estimate of when requested records will be available.Seek clarification of unclear requests.Deny the request and cite the legal exemption.The day the request is received does not count as one of the five (5) days. Lewis County Superior Court utilizes audio/video recordings and Official Court Reporters. If a court reporter is present in the courtroom, there is no audio/video recording and a request for transcript must be made to court reporter.
