    Know Your Soil and How to Improve it with Compost!: Attend this WSU Lewis County Master Recycler Composter workshop at 11 a.m. Feb. 21 at the Centralia Timberland Library to learn how to test your soil. By knowing your soil type (or which nutrients it may be lacking) you can make it better with compost.     Composting is a little like baking a cake, and the WSU Lewis County Master Recycler Composter (MRC) Volunteers will teach you how to make compost or "black gold" in your own back yard!     The LeMay Mobile Shredding truck will be at the Community Recycle Event at the Lewis County (Kiona) Road Shop, 8911 US Hwy 12, Randle from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Residents may bring up to 3 bags or boxes or sensitive documents they would like to have shredded. There is no charge for this service. The shredded paper will be hauled to a paper recycling facility for processing.
