The Records Division of the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office is open to serve the public Monday through Friday, (except Holidays), 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. We are located in the Law and Justice Center at 345 W. Main Street, Chehalis, Washington.The records staff independently coordinates and performs a broad range of technical support services to the Operations, Corrections and Services Bureaus. Support technicians are responsible for computer entry, processing, storage, retrieval and dissemination of various reports, records and information within the Sheriff’s Office, along with assisting the public at the counter and on the phone. Pre-Registration Program:The Lewis County Coroner’s Office (LCCO) has this program available where a person who is under a physician’s care for a documented long-term illness and who is receiving care (either from family or from a facility) can be enrolled in the pre-registration program.To be added to the pre-registration list the primary care physician has to complete and submit and a Lewis County Coroner’s Office Pre-Registration form that contains the patient’s demographics, the next of kin names and contact, and the mortuary of choice.
