    The Utility Services Division is responsible for establishing, operating, and maintaining public systems for the supply, treatment, and distribution of water and for the collection and treatment of wastewater and stormwater. The Utility division coordinates closely with the Engineering Services' surface water engineer.     Due to the impacts of COVID-19, the Washington State Board of Health (BOH) has extended the deadline for additional public input into changes to the state’s Retail Food Code (WAC 246-215). Public comment will now be accepted until September 29, 2020.BOH is required by law to update the Retail Food Code periodically to ensure it addresses current foodborne illness risks and best methods of prevention. Tower Ave. This is the last weekend to drop off Christmas trees for recycling. Please remove all decorations and tinsel from the trees. Donations will be accepted to support WSU Lewis County Master Recycler Composter volunteer community outreach programs. Flocked and artificial trees will not be accepted.
