Transfer stations open today; administration office closed
Lewis County transfer stations in Centralia and Morton are open regular hours today, Nov. 28. The administration office at the transfer station in Centralia, however, is closed. It will return to regular hours on Monday, Dec. 1.

Disposal District meeting canceled today; rescheduled to Feb. 17
The regularly scheduled Lewis County Solid Waste Disposal District No. 1 Commission Meeting on the fourth Monday of each month has been canceled, and rescheduled to Feb. 17 at 11 a.m. It will take place in the Lewis County Board of County Commissioners Hearing Room on the second floor of the Historic Courthouse, 351 NW North St., Chehalis, WA 98532.

Chips for Trails Event in Vader
The City of Vader is hosting its annual Chips for Trails Event at McMurphy Park on Annonen Road from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on April 19. Lewis County residents can drop off chippable branches and limbs that are no larger than 6 inches in diameter. This material will be chipped to spread on park trails.
