INTRODUCTIONLewis County Code LCC8.55 includes requirements to protect public drinking water sources. The regulations require that wells be surrounded by an area of sanitary control. The Sanitary Control Area is the area in which activities that could contaminate the drinking water source are not allowed. In the following months, meaning the early months of each year, the Lewis County Noxious Weed Control Board adopts its own, county-level, weed list.
