NOAA Weather Radio
Lewis County Emergency Management strongly recommends all citizens have a weather radio as part of their emergency preparedness kit. Weather radios are equipped with a special alarm tone feature that can sound an alert and give you immediate information about a life-threatening situation. During an emergency, the National Weather Service forecasters will interrupt routine weather radio programming and send out the special tone that activates weather radios in the listening area. The hearing and visually impaired also can get these warnings by connecting weather radios with alarm tones to other kinds of attention-getting devices like strobe lights, pagers, bed-shakers, personal …

Open House for the Reynolds Ave/Harrison Ave Corridor Improvements
Lewis County and the City of Centralia are collaborating to improve the Reynolds Avenue corridor between Harrison Avenue and Pearl Street (SR 507) and the Harrison Avenue corridor between Reynolds Avenue intersection and the Goodrich Rd-Kuper Rd intersections. An open house has been announced for this project on April 20th, 2023, from 5pm-7pm at Fort Borst Park in Kitchen #1, 2020 Borst Avenue Centralia, WA.More information can be found here.

Regional Rail Workshop
The Cowlitz-Wahkiakum Council of Governments and Thurston Regional Planning Council, in partnership with the Grays Harbor Council of Governments, the Lewis County Transportation Strategy Council and Washington State Department of Transportation, are hosting a public workshop on the Draft Washington State Rail Plan. Property Management
The Property Management Section, of the Real Estate Services Division is responsible for managing (except operational matters) all real estate owned by Lewis County, Washington. It maintains the County road files and an inventory of all County-owned parcels. It acquires real estate and other property rights for various public purposes, evaluates the impact of requests to permanently encumber the property by easements, the grant of long-term leases, or the granting of temporary or indeterminate permits.
