Comprehensive Plan Periodic Update

Beginning July 2023, Lewis County and all cities in the county are required by the Washington State Growth Management Act to update their comprehensive plans. Lewis County is coordinating this effort through the Planned Growth Committee.

Urban Growth Area (UGA) Clean Up Project

Portions of the existing Urban Growth Area (UGA) boundaries have mapping irregularities and inconsistencies that create confusion in land use and planning decisions, and the UGA cleanup aims to correct these discrepancies to ensure the boundaries accurately reflect adopted plans and support clearer, more consistent growth management moving forward.
