The Lewis County 911 Communications Division is responsible for providing and maintaining the Lewis County Communications Center which serves as the primary answering point for all 911 calls placed in Lewis County.

Communications Center Basics

The Center’s first priority is to receive 911 calls and dispatch the appropriate law, fire and medical services. The Center also handles non-emergency public safety requests for service.

The Lewis County 911 Communications Center became a division of the Lewis County General Administration on January 1, 2003, and part of Central Services in 2007.
