Unwanted household chemicals can go to Hazo Hut today
Residents may drop of household hazardous waste for free from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. today at the Lewis County Central Transfer Station, 1411 S. Tower Ave., Centralia. Examples of household hazardous materials that can be dropped off are cleaners, lawn, garden, pool chemicals, and up to 10 burned out fluorescent lights. Used motor oil and antifreeze, a limit of 5 gallons each, can also be dropped off. For more information, please call 360-740-1221 or email swu@lewiscountywa.gov with questions.
