The Community Advisory Committee (CAC), made up of property owners and neighbors in Onalaska, will begin meeting on Sept. 19. There is still room on the CAC for more members. Free Tire Recycling Event
A free tire recycling event will take place Nov. 5, 6 and 7 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily at the Southwest Washington Fairgrounds, 2555 N. National Ave., Chehalis. The event will accept 15 tires per person. Acceptable tires include: passenger and light truck tires on or off the rim, and semi-truck tires off the rim.
