Community Advisory Committee being formed to help with updated Onalaska Subarea Plan
You are invited to a community meeting about the subarea plan at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 23 in the Onalaska Elementary School Multipurpose Room. Staff will summarize the process to update the plan and answer questions from the public.Also, volunteers are needed to serve on the Community Advisory Committee (CAC) to help with the subarea plan update. Lewis County Solid Waste Advisory Commitee
The Solid Waste Advisory Committee (SWAC) is a group of volunteers who advise the Lewis County Board of Commissioners on solid waste management. SWAC members come from all areas of the county and represent a variety of interests. The SWAC meets if there is a need to in the large conference room, Lewis County Public Services, 2025 N.E. Tools, Treasures & Treats!
Plan to attend Tools, Treasures & Treats, the Master Recycler Composters of Lewis County's first tool and bake sale to raise money to support the new MRC Tool Bucket Library. The two-day event will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 10 and 11 at the Floral Park Sustainability Park, 103 E. Floral St., Centralia. Donated tools will be for sale as well as items baked by local volunteers. On Oct. 11, a cider press event will take place.
