Volunteers in the cities of Chehalis, Centralia, and sometimes other communities in Lewis County organize volunteers to pick up litter. The city of Chehalis has a group of active volunteers called the Chehalis Clean Team. They have a group on Facebook under their name: Chehalis Clean Team and you can get more information from the city of Chehalis website: Chehalis Clean Team. Court Location Juvenile Court hearings will be held at Juvenile Court located at 1255 SW Pacific Ave. Before Entering The Courtroom Please leave all non-essential items at home or in your vehicle before entry.Check in at the front counter.No food, drink or gum in the courtroom.Turn off cell phones and pagers.Remove any hat or non-prescription sunglasses.Wear clean, appropriate clothing. Pajamas and baggy clothing are inappropriate. In the United States, a typical family of four throws away an estimated $3,000 in groceries each year. Americans throw away approximately 325 pounds of food per person each year. Organics is the largest category of materials thrown away in landfills in Washington state. Transfer Station Tours Solid Waste Utility staff members are available to provide tours of the Centralia Transfer Station in Centralia.
