1. Lewis County transfer stations are closed for Thanksgiving Day

    Happy Thanksgiving! Lewis County transfer stations in Centralia and Morton are closed today, Nov. 27, in observance of the Thanksgiving Day Holiday. They will resume regular hours on Friday, Nov. 28. The administration office at the Centralia site, however, will be closed until Monday, Dec. 1.

    The Lewis County Auditor's Office has been accepting e-Recorded documents since October of 2010. For a small fee, the following e-Recording submitters will send your document to us electronically.   5. Lewis County transfer stations are closed Friday, July 4

    Lewis County transfer stations in Centralia and Morton are closed in observance of the Independence Day Holiday today (Friday, July 4). This closure includes the Administration Office at the Centralia site. Normal hours resume for transfer stations in Centralia and Morton will resume on Saturday, July 5. The Administration Office will reopen on Monday, July 7.

  7. Fee Schedule

    During the 2025 legislative session, the Washington State Legislature passed HB 1858 which increases the recording fee to $301.00 for recording an assignment, substitution, or appointment of trustee.   9. Sensitive document shredding offered in Morton at Repair & Sustainability Fair

    Residents may bring up to 3 bags or boxes or sensitive documents they would like to have shredded. There is no charge for this service. The shredded paper will be recycled at a paper recycling facility. The event will be offered from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. as part of the Repair & Sustainability Fair at Centralia College East, 701 Airport Way, Morton.
