Outgoing Phone Calls
In Custody youth currently on regular programming have a daily opportunity to use the telephone for personal calls during their recreational time. These calls are placed by the youth using the collect/prepaid phones in the youth’s assigned living unit. LEWIS COUNTY VOLUNTEER GAL PROGRAMThe Lewis County Volunteer Guardian ad Litem Program (GAL) trains volunteers to be Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) for children going through dependency court. These volunteers speak in court on the child’s behalf, representing the best interests of the child, and relaying the child’s wishes to the judge.
