Medication Drop Box Program
The Sheriff's Evidence Department manages collection of medication drop boxes. If you have outdated or medications that you no longer need, you may bring them to one of the following drop boxes:Chehalis, Law and Justice building (inside)Centralia, Police Department (outside)Morton, Police Department (inside)Mossyrock, City Hall (inside)Winlock, City Hall (inside)Toledo, City Hall (inside)

Shred sensitive documents in Vader today
Sensitive Document Shredding: Residents may bring up to 5 bags or boxes or sensitive documents they would like to have shredded from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 16. There is a free community service. The shredded paper will be recycled at a paper recycling facility at the conclusion of the event. The event will take place in the parking lot of Dailey Storage, 110 7th St., Vader, WA 98593.

Deferred Disposition
Under the deferred disposition sentencing option, youth are on supervision for 12 months and have several requirements including restitution, community service, compliance with curfew and attending school. Specific rules will also apply based on the individual youth. If the youth does not commit another crime during the 12 month probation period, then the charge is dismissed and cleared from their criminal history. Excluded from this program include youth who: Have committed a sex offense Have committed a violent offense Have a criminal history that includes a felony Have had a previous Deferred Disposition Has had two or more adjudications
