  2. Superior Court Civil Arbitration Amount effective 9/1/18

    Pursuant to Engrossed House Bill 1128, the Superior Court Judges of Lewis County Washington hereby approve of and authorize arbitratin of civil actions as set forth in RCW 7.06.     INTRODUCTIONLewis County Code LCC8.55 includes requirements to protect public drinking water sources. The regulations require that wells be surrounded by an area of sanitary control. The Sanitary Control Area is the area in which activities that could contaminate the drinking water source are not allowed. Lewis County requires similar protection for two-party water supplies and properties being subdivided.According to state regulations and Lewis County Policy, a purveyor (the person owning or operating a water system) must provide an area of sanitary control for a radius of 100 feet for wells and 200 feet for shallow wells..     The Town of Pe Ell will host a free tire recycling event on June 12 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the parking lot behind Town Hall. Access to the lot is just off Chehalis Avenue.The event offers free recycling of up to 15 tires per customer.
