Morton transfer station accepts household chemicals today
Residential customers can drop off unwanted/leftover household cleaners, and lawn, garden and pool chemicals. They can also drop off up to five gallons of motor oil, up to five gallons of antifreeze and up to 10 burned out fluorescent bulbs.

Fee Schedule
During the 2025 legislative session, the Washington State Legislature passed HB 1858 which increases the recording fee to $301.00 for recording an assignment, substitution, or appointment of trustee. ArcGIS Noxious Weeds Map Click on the map icon to the left to view. In 2022, your noxious weed control team began recording noxious weed infestations on iForm to be displayed on this map. Although many infestations noted this year have not yet been uploaded, in addition to missing most historical records, we believe this is a great start to a more manageable and efficient tracking system.

Bring sensitive documents for shredding to Repair & Sustainability Fair
Residents may bring up to 3 bags or boxes or sensitive documents they would like to have shredded. There is no charge for this service. The shredded paper will be recycled at a paper recycling facility. The event will be offered from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. as part of the spring Repair & Sustainability Fair at the SWFT Center at Centralia College, 807 W. Pear St.
