    Adopt-A-Road Program The Lewis County Department of Public Works, Solid Waste Utility's Adopt-A-Road Program is now available for community groups or like-minded friends and neighbors to pick up litter along county roads. Organizations and individuals can submit an application to adopt a section of road to clean at least four times a year, or sign up for a one-time clean up of a community, neighborhood, or park.     What types of oils can be recycled as used motor oil? Motor oil is only accepted for recycling at the Central Transfer Station in Centralia on days that the Hazo Hut is open to the public.     Lewis County residents will have an opportunity to properly dispose of household hazardous waste and recycle several items for free at a special event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 10 at the Lewis County Road Shop, 111 Pleasant Valley Road, Winlock, WA 98596.     Motor Oil and Antifreeze Recycling Customers bringing oil to the Central Transfer Station, 1411 S. Tower Ave., Centralia, are only be permitted to drop off motor oil and antifreeze on Wednesdays and the first and third Saturday of each month from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., when the Hazo Hut is open.
