Notice of a Hearing before the Board of Lewis County Solid Waste Disposal District No. 1, for Resolution No. 005-12, Whereas, RCW 36.58.130 authorizes a Solid Waste Disposal District to collect fees necessary to pay for the handling and disposal of solid waste. The hearing is scheduled for January 28, 2013 at or after the hour of 1:30 pm at the Lewis County Commissioner's Office, (Lewis County Courthouse, 2nd Floor, 351 NW North St, Chehalis, WA, 98532). Chips for Trails in Vader
The Third Annual Chips for Trails event will take place at McMurphy Park off Annonen Road in Vader in celebration of Earth Day. The Vader Parks Board, volunteers and city staff will be collecting branches and brush for chipping during this time. The material will be chipped up and spread onto trails of the Vader park. During the event, Lewis County residents are permitted to drop off brush and branches to be chipped that are no larger than 5 inches in diameter.
