    Lewis County Transfer Stations in Centralia and Morton are closed today (Monday, May 26) for the Memorial Day Holiday. The Administration Office at the Centralia site is also closed. They will resume normal operations on Tuesday, May 27.

  9. Connecting Neighbors for Earth Month Bonus Event: Chipping Event

    Chipping Event10 a.m.-3 p.m. Floral Park Sustainability Project, 104 E. Floral St., Centralia, WA 98531WSU Lewis Co. MRC Volunteers host a chipping event.     The Construction and Special Programs Section is responsible for the following: Repair stream bank scour and erosion at bridges. Obtain regulatory agencies’ permits. Apply hydraulic techniques to stabilize and restore stream channels. Repair failed roadway prisms due to slides, sink holes, and waterway erosion. Coordinate repairs to river revetments by contractors and the US Army Corps of Engineers. Provide assistance as the Lewis County R.I.D. (Road Improvement District) Coordinator.
