    During the 2025 legislative session, the Washington State Legislature passed HB 1858 which increases the recording fee to $301.00 for recording an assignment, substitution, or appointment of trustee.     The Lewis County Noxious Weed Control Board currently has an expiration of a term of office on its five-member board. The vacancies occur in: Weed District Two which includes the communities of: Centralia, Chehalis and District Five including the communities of: Glenoma, Randle and Packwood. The Board positions are four-year terms that shall be filled by a person engaged in agricultural practices. Noxious Weed Control Board positions are non-paid, volunteer positions.
