Commercial Vehicle Enforcement responsibilities include:Commercial enforcement throughout the county.Coordinating training on CDL issues and keeping records to comply with federal code reference Medical Cards and Driver Abstracts.Assisting the Road Maintenance Supervisors with Haz-Mat issues and any other issues that they need assistance with.Represents the Sheriff Office on the Code Enforcement committee. The Lewis County Noxious Weed Control Board currently has an expiration of term of office on its five-member board. The vacancy occurs in: Weed District 1 which includes the communities of: Adna, Curtis, Boistfort, Dryad & Pe Ell. The Board positions are four-year terms that shall be filled by a person engaged in agricultural practices. Noxious Weed Control Board positions are non-paid, volunteer positions.
