Historic Lewis County Courthouse receives spring cleaning
Bi-annual cleaning and restoration work being done on the Lewis County Courthouse Apr. 13. Household Hazardous Waste Satellite Collection Fall Event: Pe Ell
Satellite Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event: Residential customers may drop off their unwanted or left-over oil-based paint, cleaners, lawn, garden, pool chemicals, and other household chemicals at Pe Ell Town Hall, 111 Main St., Pe Ell, WA. Please be prepared to leaves your containers at the event. Workers don't have a place to empty them, and return them to customers at satellite events. Limits for these events are 10 CFL lights, 5 gallons motor oil, 5 gallons antifreeze, 15 gallons oil-based paint, 5 gallons cooking oil, and no containers larger than 5 gallons. Lewis County Emergency Management strongly recommends all citizens have a weather radio as part of their emergency preparedness kit. Weather radios are equipped with a special alarm tone feature that can sound an alert and give you immediate information about a life-threatening situation. During an emergency, the National Weather Service forecasters will interrupt routine weather radio programming and send out the special tone that activates weather radios in the listening area. Open House for the Reynolds Ave/Harrison Ave Corridor Improvements
Lewis County and the City of Centralia are collaborating to improve the Reynolds Avenue corridor between Harrison Avenue and Pearl Street (SR 507) and the Harrison Avenue corridor between Reynolds Avenue intersection and the Goodrich Rd-Kuper Rd intersections.
