Deferred Disposition
Under the deferred disposition sentencing option, youth are on supervision for 12 months and have several requirements including restitution, community service, compliance with curfew and attending school. Specific rules will also apply based on the individual youth. If the youth does not commit another crime during the 12 month probation period, then the charge is dismissed and cleared from their criminal history. Excluded from this program include youth who: Have committed a sex offense Have committed a violent offense Have a criminal history that includes a felony Have had a previous Deferred Disposition Has had two or more adjudications

Tools, Treasures & Treats!
Plan to attend Tools, Treasures & Treats, the Master Recycler Composters of Lewis County's first tool and bake sale to raise money to support the new MRC Tool Bucket Library. The two-day event will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 10 and 11 at the Floral Park Sustainability Park, 103 E. Floral St., Centralia. Recycle paint at the SWW Fairgrounds today
Lewis County Solid Waste Utility is partnering with Green Sheen Paint and the Southwest Washington Fair to offer a free paint recycling event on Saturday, May 16, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Drop off unwanted paint cans and leftover paint. The event will take place in the Blue Pavilion Parking Lot at the Southwest Washington Fairground, 1909 S. Gold Street, Centralia, WA 98531. The event is open to residential and business customers.
