Community Recycle Event at the Lewis County Road Shop, 111 Pleasant Valley Road, Winlock, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.Satellite Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event: Residential customers may drop off their unwanted or leftover cleaners, aerosol cans, lawn, garden, pool chemicals, and other household chemicals. Please be prepared to leave your containers at the event. Workers don't have a place to empty them, and return them to customers at satellite events. Property and Evidence
The Property and Evidence Office is located off-site from the Law and Justice Center. Property items may be picked up Monday through Friday (excluding Holidays) by appointment only. The Property and Evidence Division is responsible for the overall security, storage and proper disposition of evidence obtained by officers of the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office. The Property & Evidence Manager and one Support Technician II are assigned to the Property and Evidence Division.It is important to call and make an appointment for any release of property. Hazo Hut in Centralia is open for residential customers
Hazo Hut at the Lewis County Central Transfer Station, 1411 S. Tower Ave., Centralia, is open today from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Residential customers can drop off the following items for free up to 10 burned out fluorescent lights, leftover household chemicals, and up to 5 gallons of used motor oil or antifreeze. The household hazardous waste collection facility is open every Wednesday and the first and third Saturday of each month from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
