    Do you pick up dead animals? Yes, but only if it is on the county right-of-way (road or ditch); not if it is on private property. Why can’t you just drain this swampy area so the road won’t get flooded? We have strict rules imposed on us by other departments such as Washington State Fish and Wildlife Department, Department of Ecology, and other State/Federal agencies.     Plan to attend Tools, Treasures & Treats, the Master Recycler Composters of Lewis County's first tool and bake sale to raise money to support the new MRC Tool Bucket Library. The two-day event will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 10 and 11 at the Floral Park Sustainability Park, 103 E. Floral St., Centralia. Donated tools will be for sale as well as items baked by local volunteers. On Oct. 11, a cider press event will take place.     The Lewis County Noxious Weed Control Board recognizes that managing noxious weeds requires a community wide effort, and everyone living in the county benefits from all of us putting in our fair share of the work. The Washington State noxious weed law, RCW 17.10, mandates that it is each landowners' responsibility to control or eradicate noxious weeds on their property and to prevent infestations from spreading to adjacent properties.
