Explore the County Budget using the OpenGov interactive transparency portal. Lewis County BudgetState law establishes the general requirements of Lewis County’s budget process. By law, many revenues must be spent in specific ways. This limits how the County can spend or cut costs to balance the budget.The Budget Department facilitates the development of the budget. All department heads and elected officials develop and submit their budget requests by early September. After their requests are reviewed, the County Manager submits a Preliminary Budget to the Board of Lewis County Commissioners (BOCC) in early October. From there, the BOCC meets with each …

CORRECTIONS BUREAU– CHIEF CHRIS SWEET The Corrections Bureau encompasses the Lewis County Jail. The Lewis County Jail was remodeled in 2005 and is approximately 69,000 square feet.The Corrections Bureau is comprised of a Captain, Lieutenant, six Sergeants, forty-one Corrections Deputies, an Administrative Assistant and five Support Technicians. CUSTODY DIVISION: The Custody Division is directly supervised by a Lieutenant and consists of four custody squads. A sergeant leads each squad and each squad is comprised of seven or eight Corrections Deputies. The Custody squads work 12 hour shifts, and have 3-4 days off per week. The shifts rotate every three months …

Court Location Juvenile Court hearings will be held at Juvenile Court located at 1255 SW Pacific Ave. Before Entering The Courtroom Please leave all non-essential items at home or in your vehicle before entry.Check in at the front counter.No food, drink or gum in the courtroom.Turn off cell phones and pagers.Remove any hat or non-prescription sunglasses.Wear clean, appropriate clothing. Pajamas and baggy clothing are inappropriate. In The Courtroom Stand when the judge enters the courtroom.Do not have side discussions with others while waiting your turn.Be respectful when addressing the court.Always answer verbally when spoken to. Functional Family Therapy (FFT) This program was part of a cost-benefit analysis completed by the Washington State Institute for Public Policy on several violence prevention and reduction programs, including six Blueprints programs: Watching the Bottom Line: Cost-Effective Interventions for Reducing Crime in Washington. Program Summary Functional Family Therapy (FFT) is an outcome-driven prevention/intervention program for youth who have demonstrated the entire range of maladaptive, acting out behaviors and related syndromes. Program Targets: Youth, aged 11-18, at risk for and/or presenting with delinquency, violence, substance use, Conduct Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, or Disruptive Behavior Disorder. The Administrative Office of the Courts' (AOC) Equity and Access Program has recently launched Self-Help Washington (SHW) to provide accessible resources to help people without lawyers to navigate Washington Courts.
