The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program – Education (SNAP-Ed) is a federally funded grant program that supports evidence-based nutrition education and obesity prevention interventions and projects for persons eligible for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) through complementary direct education, multi-level interventions, and community and public health approaches to improve nutrition.SNAP-Ed is an evidence-based program that helps people lead healthier lives. Lewis County Maintenance & Operations is comprised of two separate divisions; Fleet Services and Road Maintenance. The Fleet Services Division is responsible for purchasing, liquidating, and mechanically maintaining the entire fleet of rolling stock and off road equipment. Currently, Fleet Services maintains and services vehicles at two separate locations. The Road Maintenance Division is responsible for providing cost effective, safe travel over the 1,053 miles of county roadway in Lewis County.
