2022 Noxious Weed Conference
The majority of your Noxious Weed Control staff will be out of the office from Tuesday November 1st to Friday November 4th to attend the annual Noxious Weed Conference in Wenatchee WA. Tire Recycling in Packwood
Lewis County residents may recycle up to 12 tires per household for free during this two-day event, today and Oct. 14, at the Packwood Community Hall. Tires can be passenger or light truck tires, on or off the rim, or semi-truck tires off the rim. The event will not be able to accept any other type of tire. Customers should be prepared to show proof of Lewis County residency. They will also be expected to unload their own tires. Lewis County Assessor Ross Nielson. CHEHALIS – The Lewis County Assessor’s Office has mailed property revaluation notices for taxes owed in 2024. Some values have increased, some have lowered, depending on areas and other factors. The notices will be representing property value as of January 1, 2023.Lewis County Assessor Ross Nielson says his office has the responsibility to determine the value of all taxable real and personal property within the county. Jacobaea vulgaris Tansy Ragwort - An herbaceous plant that can either be a winter annual, a biennial, or sometimes a perennial. Mowing may cause the plant to grow like a perennial.Leaves: Twice divided leaves, with leaf stems at the bottom of the plant, but a singular, unbranched, stalk towards the top of the plant. First year Tansy will have a basal clump, and afterwards the leaves are alternate.Flowers: Flowers bloom from June - August. Somewhat flat-topped clusters of yellow disk and ray flowers.
