Toxic tansy ragwort disposal scheduled July 14-15
Lewis County WSU Extension Noxious Weed Control is hosting Tansy ragwort disposal sites Friday, July 14 in Randle, Mossyrock and Onalaska, and Saturday, July 15 in PeEll, Toledo and Centralia. Tansy is toxic and can be lethal to livestock.

Curbside Organics Pick Up
LeMay Inc. offers a curbside organics pickup service in Lewis County from the Town of Pe Ell to the City of Morton and it's Urban Growth Area. Even the most dedicated farmer or master gardener is unlikely to get out there and enjoy spring before the weeds get their start on the growing season. Release Information
Juveniles can only be released to their parent/guardian. If the parent/guardian is unable to pick up the juvenile upon release, there must be prior approval from the juvenile’s Probation Officer.The parent/guardian must provide proper identification prior to the juvenile’s release.*Medication will only be released to the parent/guardian.If a parent/guardian refuses to pick up the juvenile from Juvenile Detention, the Juvenile Court staff will notify the local law enforcement agency and Child Protective Services (CPS) to report abandonment.

Hazo Hut is open today (May 3)
Residents may drop of household hazardous waste for free from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. today at the Lewis County Central Transfer Station, 1411 S. Tower Ave., Centralia. Examples of household hazardous materials that can be dropped off are cleaners, lawn, garden, pool chemicals, and up to 10 burned out fluorescent lights.
