    The WSU Lewis County Master Recycler Composter (MRC) Volunteers will offer a series of composting workshops today at Salkum Library, 2480 US Hwy 12. Basic Composting will take place from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.; Worm Composting will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.; and Know Your Soils will take place from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. The general public is invited to attend any one of the workshops, or all of them. There are some basic science principles required to successfully create compost in the shortest possible time but the rest is art, allowing you to create a composting setup that works for you.
