  7. Sensitive Document Shredding Event in Centralia (1/6)

    Sensitive Document Shredding: The mobile shredding truck will be in the parking lot before you enter the Lewis County Transfer Station at 1411 S. Tower Ave. in Centralia from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Residents may bring up to 3 bags or boxes or sensitive documents they would like to have shredded. There is no charge for this service. The shredded paper will be recycled at a paper recycling facility. Support for this event is provided in part by the Department of Ecology.

    Hazo Hut at the Lewis County Central Transfer Station, 1411 S. Tower Ave., Centralia, is open today from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Residential customers can drop off the following items for free unwanted household chemicals, up to 10 burned out fluorescent lights and up to 5 gallons of used motor oil or antifreeze. The household hazardous waste collection facility is open every Wednesday and the first and third Saturday of each month from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
