Lewis County Transfer Stations are Open on Labor Day
Lewis County Transfer Stations in Centralia and Morton will be open regular hours on Labor Day, Sept. 6. Centralia will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Morton will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Inbound gates for both sites close 15 minutes prior to facility closure.The Administration Office at the Centralia site, however, will be closed. The office will return to regular hours on Tuesday, Sept. 7.

Holiday Cancels Disposal District Meeting
The regularly scheduled meeting of the Lewis County Disposal District Number 1 has been canceled because of the Memorial Day holiday today, May 27. It was rescheduled for 11 a.m. Monday, May 20.

Lewis County transfer stations in Centralia and Morton are closed today, Dec. 25, for the Christmas Day holiday. They will return to their normal hours on Thursday, Dec. 26.

Community Recycle Event in the Toledo Area
The event will take place at the South County Regional Park, 212 Ray Road, Toledo, WA 98591, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., unless the containers fill up before 2 p.m.Household Hazardous Waste Event: Residential customers may drop off unwanted or left-over household cleaners, lawn, garden, pool chemicals, other household chemicals. Please be prepared to leave your containers at the event. Workers don't have a place to empty them, and return them.
