DOL Revocation and Reinstatement
The Juvenile Court revokes a Juvenile’s driving privilege if the court finds that the juvenile has committed any of the following offenses: A felony in the commission of which a motor vehicle was usedThe unlawful possession of a firearm in a motor vehicleThe second or subsequent offense while armed with a firearmThe second or subsequent unlawful possession of a firearm 2ndThe second or subsequent offense in violation of RCW chapter 66.44, 69.41, 69.50, or 69.52For information regarding how to have your driving privileges reinstated, please go to www.dol.wa.gov/driverslicense/minor.html

Spiritual Counseling
Youth have opportunities throughout the week to do group counseling and/or individualized counseling. Services provided by:Young Life who provides services to connect youth to Christ while in custody and out of custody such as, but not limited to team building exercises, bible study, one-on-one counseling.Christ for Life and Prisons for Christ who provide services such as, but not limited to bible study, seminary, in custody concerts, and one-on-one counseling to those in custody.These services are available throughout the week to any in-custody youth who would like to participate.

Residents can drop off sensitive documents for shredding in Vader
Sensitive Document Shredding: Residents may bring up to 3 bags or boxes or sensitive documents they would like to have shredded from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 17. There is no charge for this service. The shredded paper will be recycled at a paper recycling facility at the conclusion of the event. The event will take place in the parking lot of Dailey Storage, 110 7th St., Vader, WA 98593.

Diversion
Diversion is an option to deal with a first or a minor offense a youth has committed where they wish to take responsibility for their action and make amends. They do not have to go to court or go before a judge. A meeting would be set up with a probation officer to provide an opportunity for youth to sign a diversion agreement. The diversion agreement can require the juvenile to complete community service, counseling, classes, and/or restitution to name a few. Court Location Juvenile Court hearings will be held at Juvenile Court located at 1255 SW Pacific Ave. Before Entering The Courtroom Please leave all non-essential items at home or in your vehicle before entry.Check in at the front counter.No food, drink or gum in the courtroom.Turn off cell phones and pagers.Remove any hat or non-prescription sunglasses.Wear clean, appropriate clothing. Pajamas and baggy clothing are inappropriate. In The Courtroom Stand when the judge enters the courtroom.Do not have side discussions with others while waiting your turn.Be respectful when addressing the court.Always answer verbally when spoken to. Open Space Act
RCW 84.34Land owners who wish current use assessment for property tax purposes on lands eligible for classification under the Open Space program, must submit an application to the Lewis County Assessor's Office by December 31st. Applications taken in the calendar year prior to December 31st are inspected in the next year and either approved or denied. If the application is approved, it is taxed in the subsequent year.
