"Which list is which?" Every year, the Washington State Weed Board adopts a noxious weed list, which goes into effect on the first of January. In the following months, meaning the early months of each year, the Lewis County Noxious Weed Control Board adopts its own, county-level, weed list. The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Program is administered by Lewis County Public Health & Social Services (PHSS). WIC services assure healthy pregnancies, healthy birth outcomes, and healthy growth and development for women, infants, and children up to age five. WIC is available at the Public Health Building, 360 NW North Street in downtown Chehalis. WIC staff also make monthly visits to Randle, Mossyrock, and Winlock.
