Final Day for Free Christmas Tree Recycling in Morton
Christmas trees, holiday lights, cardboard shipping boxes, and wrapping paper can be dropped off for free at the East Lewis County Transfer Station, 6745 US Hwy. 12, just east of Morton, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. from Dec. 26 through Jan. 6, Mondays through Saturdays, except on the New Year's Day Holiday. Check in with the scale house for directions on where to drop off the holiday items for recycling. Lewis County transfer stations are closed Friday, July 4
Lewis County transfer stations in Centralia and Morton are closed in observance of the Independence Day Holiday today (Friday, July 4). This closure includes the Administration Office at the Centralia site. Normal hours resume for transfer stations in Centralia and Morton will resume on Saturday, July 5. The Administration Office will reopen on Monday, July 7.

Lewis County Noxious Weed Control Board Meeting Postponed
Board Members & Community Members:Our regular scheduled Weed Board Meeting is postponed. The meeting was scheduled for May 5, 2020.The postponement is due to the Lewis County Courthouse Closure and current COVID 19 response.We will work to reschedule the meeting as soon as possible.
