As county recorder, the Auditor is responsible for recording and preserving in perpetuity land ownership documents, surveys, plats, land corner records, state and federal tax liens, uniform commercial codes and other miscellaneous ordinances and legal records. Examples of household hazardous materials that can be dropped off are cleaners, lawn, garden, and pool chemicals.
