Last Weekend to Recycle Christmas Trees & Lights
Residents can drop off their Christmas trees and burned out holiday lights from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. today in the parking lot outside the Centralia transfer station at 1411 S. Tower Ave. This is the last weekend to drop off Christmas trees for recycling. Please remove all decorations and tinsel from the trees. Donations will be accepted to support WSU Lewis County Master Recycler Composter volunteer community outreach programs. Flocked and artificial trees will not be accepted. Lewis County Superior Court is accepting letters of interest from attorneys interested in being a Pro-tem Family Law Court Commissioner. We utilize pro-tem Commissioners to cover family law dockets during judicial conferences, vacation coverage and some overflow dockets and are looking at expanding our current list of available pro-tems. Transportation Improvement ProgramThe Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) represents the county's transportation priorities for a six-year time period and identifies road and bridge construction, and other transportation improvement projects throughout the unincorporated county. The Annual Construction Program (ACP) represents the first year of the program.
