Real Estate Services
The Real Estate Services Division is responsible for land management of properties, right-of-way, mapping, and geographic analysis in support of the Public Works Department and for the County overall.The Division manages the Public Works Department's assorted sets of historical maps, surveys, road way files, field notes, engineer tracings/drawings, and aerial photos.These are being indexed and scanned to preserve the integrity of the originals and to increase their availability. Case records are records that relate to in-court proceedings, including case files, dockets, calendars, and the like. To view or request a copies of documents filed in a specific case or obtain a CD recording of hearings, the Court Records Request form will need to be filled out and submitted to the court. Copies are $0.25 per page, $5.00 per certified document or $20 per CD recording of hearings. Property Management
The Property Management Section, of the Real Estate Services Division is responsible for managing (except operational matters) all real estate owned by Lewis County, Washington. It maintains the County road files and an inventory of all County-owned parcels. It acquires real estate and other property rights for various public purposes, evaluates the impact of requests to permanently encumber the property by easements, the grant of long-term leases, or the granting of temporary or indeterminate permits.
