The Coroner's Office works closely with the staff of the Public Health District to identify health issues affecting the public and working to reduce those effects through public education.This is also where copies of Death Certificates can be requested. The event will take place from *10 a.m. to 2 p.m. (except where noted) at the Lewis County Area 7 Road Shop (Kiona), 8911 US Hwy 12, Randle, WA 98377.Satellite Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event: Residential customers may drop off their unwanted or left-over cleaners, lawn, garden, pool chemicals, and other household chemicals. Alliaria petiolata Garlic Mustard - A biennial to short-lived perennial plant. Plant smells of garlic and can grow to around 3 feet in height.Leaves: Basal leaves have rounded tips and are kidney shaped. Upper leaves are alternate and triangular in shape. Both types of leaves have leaf stems and are coarsely toothed. New leaves smell the most of garlic.Flowers: Flowers bloom from April-June. Flowers have 4 petals, 4 sepals, and 6 stamens. Residents can drop off sensitive documents for shredding in Vader
Sensitive Document Shredding: Residents may bring up to 3 bags or boxes or sensitive documents they would like to have shredded from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 17. There is no charge for this service. The shredded paper will be recycled at a paper recycling facility at the conclusion of the event. The event will take place in the parking lot of Dailey Storage, 110 7th St., Vader, WA 98593.
