The possibility of rabies in domestic or wild animals is very unlikely in Washington, though it is still important to vaccinate your pets. Raccoons, skunks, and foxes are known to have rabies across the country, at low rates, and are considered rabid unless proven negative by a lab test. The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program – Education (SNAP-Ed) is a federally funded grant program that supports evidence-based nutrition education and obesity prevention interventions and projects for persons eligible for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) through complementary direct education, multi-level interventions, and community and public health approaches to improve nutrition.SNAP-Ed is an evidence-based program that helps people lead healthier lives. Internship Program
INTERNSHIPS: The Lewis County Coroner's Office does accept students as interns as long as they are enrolled in a college or university that is accredited through the US Department of Education as well as the College for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA). This office does not accept applications or inquiries directly from students. Students must go through their school internship or co-operative coordinator to apply for an internship. Forms colonies.Leaves: Many narrow, linear leaves up to 4 inches in length, alternating along the stem.Flowers: Flowers bloom from June-September. Many flowers crowd the top 2-9 inches of the plant. Flowers are yellow, hairy, and have orange "throats."
