Lewis County residents can drop off a maximum of five gallons of used antifreeze and up to 10 burned out fluorescent lights at Hazo Hut at the transfer station in Centralia, 1411 S. Tower Ave. Unwanted household chemicals, excluding PaintCare items (Please visit PaintCare.org to learn more about PaintCare items and find out where to drop off PaintCare items locally), and up to five gallons of used motor oil can also be dropped off at this time, too.

Satellite Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event: Residential customers may drop off their unwanted or left-over oil-based paint, cleaners, lawn, garden, pool chemicals, and other household chemicals at the old solid waste Winlock Drop Box, 1105 Winlock-Vader Road on April 23. Tire Recycling Event at SWW Fairgrounds (10/26)
Lewis County residents may recycle up to 12 tires per household for free during this three-day event, today through Saturday, in the south parking lot of the Southwest Washington Fairgrounds. Tires can be passenger or light truck tires, on or off the rim, or semi-truck tires off the rim. The event will not be able to accept any other type of tire.
