One identified individual remains at large. On 12/04/18 at about 11:09 AM, deputies responded to an interrupted burglary in the 600 block of State Route 506 in Toledo. The Lewis County Noxious Weed Control Board will be meeting on February 21, 2017 to adopt the 2017 Lewis County Noxious Weed list. The public is welcome to attend the meeting and hearing to consider the adoption of the Lewis County Weed List. Friends of Seminary Hill Natural Area will be hosting their annual work day to do maintenance to the Natural Area in Centralia. The event will take place on Saturday, April 23 at 10:00 AM. Satellite Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event: Residential customers may drop off their unwanted or left-over oil-based paint, cleaners, lawn, garden, pool chemicals, and other household chemicals at Pe Ell Town Hall, 111 Main St., Pe Ell, WA. Please be prepared to leaves your containers at the event. Workers don't have a place to empty them, and return them to customers at satellite events. Limits for these events are 10 CFL lights, 5 gallons motor oil, 5 gallons antifreeze, 15 gallons oil-based paint, 5 gallons cooking oil, and no containers larger than 5 gallons. Covid - Masking Strongly Encouraged 7/11/22
Counsel/Participants/Staff:As you may have heard on the news, Lewis County is one of several counties in Washington State considered high-risk for Covid-19. The CDC recommends people wear masks in indoor public spaces when the rating is listed as high. As a measure prior to suspending jury trials once again, the Lewis County Superior Court Judges are strongly encouraging masking in Superior Court effective Monday, July 11, 2022.
