    The Lewis County Clerk's Office is authorized by the U.S. Department of State to accept passport applications. Passport applications may be submitted, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Friday.We will attempt to process passport applications for everyone that comes into the office during the hours listed above, but the Clerk's statutory duties take precedence.     Purpose The Planning Commission assists the Community Development department in carrying out its duties, including assistance in the preparation and execution of the comprehensive plan and the adoption of development regulations for Lewis County, Washington.
