1. Motor Oil Can Be Recycled Today in Centralia

    Residents may drop of household hazardous waste for free from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. today at the Lewis County Central Transfer Station, 1411 S. Tower Ave., Centralia. Examples of household hazardous materials that can be dropped off are cleaners, lawn, garden, pool chemicals, and up to 10 burned out fluorescent lights.     Sensitive Document Shredding: Residents may bring up to 3 bags or boxes or sensitive documents they would like to have shredded from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 17. There is no charge for this service. The shredded paper will be recycled at a paper recycling facility at the conclusion of the event. The event will take place in the parking lot of Dailey Storage, 110 7th St., Vader, WA 98593.

    Sensitive Document Shredding: Residents may bring up to 3 bags or boxes or sensitive documents they would like to have shredded. There is no charge for this service.   6. Sheriff's Office Offers New Tool for Victims of Lost Property

    The Lewis County Sheriff’s Office has developed a new tool that will, hopefully, aid in helping citizens claim their lost property. Citizens who have lost property in Lewis County can now go to the LCSO website to see if their property has been turned in. The website address is: http://lewiscountywa.gov/sheriff/found-property.
