    Residents may drop of household hazardous waste for free from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today at the East Lewis County Transfer Station, 6745 U.S. Hwy 12, just east of Morton. Examples of household hazardous materials that can be dropped off are cleaners, lawn, garden, and pool chemicals.   3. Hazo Hut in Centralia is open for residential customers

    Hazo Hut at the Lewis County Central Transfer Station, 1411 S. Tower Ave., Centralia, is open today from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Residential customers can drop off the following items for free up to 10 burned out fluorescent lights, leftover household chemicals, and up to 5 gallons of used motor oil or antifreeze. The household hazardous waste collection facility is open every Wednesday and the first and third Saturday of each month from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

  5. Deferred Disposition

    Under the deferred disposition sentencing option, youth are on supervision for 12 months and have several requirements including restitution, community service, compliance with curfew and attending school. Specific rules will also apply based on the individual youth. If the youth does not commit another crime during the 12 month probation period, then the charge is dismissed and cleared from their criminal history. Excluded from this program include youth who: Have committed a sex offense Have committed a violent offense Have a criminal history that includes a felony Have had a previous Deferred Disposition Has had two or more adjudications
