WSDA Pesticide Recertification Credit
WSU Lewis & Cowlitz County Extension will be hosting the Small Farm School and will be offering WSDA Pesticide Recertification Credit for two of the six programs. The program will be held at Centralia College on March 16, 2013 form 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. March Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day in Morton
Residents may drop of household hazardous waste for free from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. today at the East Lewis County Transfer Station, 6745 U.S. Hwy 12, just east of Morton. Examples of household hazardous materials that can be dropped off are cleaners, lawn, garden, and pool chemicals. Businesses may not bring hazardous materials to the East Lewis County Transfer Station. For more information, please call 360-740-1221.
