Repair & Sustainability Fair: The WSU Lewis County Master Recycler Composter (MRC) volunteers are teaming up with Centralia College, the Lewis County Solid Waste Utility and others in the community to offer the Repair & Sustainability Fair to the area residents. It will be located in the SWFT Centralia at Centralia College at 807 W. The Lewis County Coroner's Office employs Deputy Coroners who respond to locations where deaths have occurred in order to conduct medicolegal death investigations. Deputy Coroners are not law enforcement personnel but do work very closely in conducting investigations with all of the law enforcement agencies in the county. The Lewis County Coroner's Office currently has The Elected Coroner, Chief Deputy Coroner, one full-time Deputy Coroner, one part-time Deputy Coroner, and six on-call Deputy Coroners. Community Recycle Event scheduled for Napavine-Winlock area
Lewis County residents will have an opportunity to properly dispose of household hazardous waste and recycle several items for free at a special event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 10 at the Lewis County Road Shop, 111 Pleasant Valley Road, Winlock, WA 98596. They can bring in up to 10 fluorescent lights, 5 gallons of motor oil, 5 gallons of antifreeze, and 5 gallons of cooking oil per household. No containers larger than 5 gallons will be accepted.
