The 4th annual Drug Court Association 5k fundraiser is being held this year at 5:30 p.m. on May 15, at Stan Hedwall Park in Chehalis. HISTORY In Washington State, the County Auditor's office is given the task of being the "custodians of records." Lewis County Animal Shelter reduces adult dog adoption fees through June 17
Ana, a husky, is among the many adult dogs available for adoption. CHEHALIS – In an effort to help more dogs find their forever homes, the Lewis County Animal Shelter is holding a special dog adoption event – with extended hours and reduced adoption fees. The shelter is reducing the fee for adopting adult dogs by 50 percent – dropping the fee to $100 – and extending its hours to 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Saturday, June 10, and Tuesday, June 13, through Saturday, June 17.The goal of this one-time, emergency reduced-fee adoption event is to encourage the public to …
